One of the recipients of the Baby's First Test Challenge Awards, Children's National Medical System, created "The Heart Smart Video Project". This video is geared towards families and explains the importance of Pulse Oximetry Testing to screen for Critical Congenital Heart Defect (CCHD). If detected, CCHD can be quickly treated; yet if left undetected, CCHD can be fatal. If you're a parent, make sure that your baby recieves a Pulse Oximetry screening within 24 hours after birth.
